Heather Hite

Operations Coordinator

Heather Irwin

Finding good therapists is a hard enough job, but to find the other staff that Capstone must have to be successful is even harder. The Admissions Coordinator must be a person of many, many talents and a person of solid character with a very compassionate heart. When God sent us Heather Irwin, he knew what we needed. As the Admissions Coordinator, she is the liaison between Capstone and everyone that is interested in Capstone.  When you send in an assessment or call for information, Heather will be the person you talk to 99% of the time.

Two of the phrases that we live by here at Capstone, is “control your panic” and poise over panic.”  There is not another staff member who lives this more than Heather. Her office is in constant motion whether she’s on the phone with a family, filing insurance for a family, or reading the online assessments. In the midst of all of these responsibilities, Heather is one of the most complimented people at Capstone by the parents who bring their sons here.  She will make you feel like you are her only family.

Heather’s Bachelors degree is in Social Work so she understands the therapy approach of the program and is very good at answering the initial inquiries that parents and counselors have. Heather is an energetic, organized, and loving person. She is always seeing things that can improve the Capstone program. She is in charge of the admission process and has worked hard to improve the process for everyone involved. She is a pro at answering parents’ questions and sharing with them what Capstone is all about.

Heather is an encouragement to everybody; the staff, the boys, the parents. I haven’t seen her come to work without being excited to be there. I personally enjoy and appreciate her because she e-mails me daily at my house with all the things that I’m supposed to remember, which I would forget without my Heather “reminder” e-mails. Again it takes a special woman to work at Capstone Treatment Center and we are thankful that Heather is here!

Heather married Justin Hite in the spring of 2008.

Heather’s favorite Scripture is Deuteronomy 30:19-20, “This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”
