Jeremiah Taylor, Psychotherapist
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist / LMFT
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor / LADAC
EMDR Part II
Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy
In 2003 I asked our therapy team if they knew of any therapists that would qualify to work at Capstone and one of them said affirmatively “Jeremiah Taylor’. I have never been disappointed in our decision to hire Jeremiah. He is a very talented therapist and a quality Christian man. He’s married to Jamie and is Dad to Caleb, Calissa, and Kenna.
Jeremiah has become one of the veterans at Capstone. I am so proud of the way he has stepped up over the past several years to be a leader in the team. Jeremiah is always doing something, always working, and always looking to learn more. One of the things I am most jealous about is that his parents live in Alaska where he took Caleb to catch his first rainbow trout in 2003. It was nineteen inches long and weighed almost four pounds. I’ve never caught a rainbow that big. Jeremiah brings many experiences from Alaska. He has a great love for the outdoors but even a greater love for his family.
Jeremiah is a hard working, sincere, and talented man of integrity. He is fun and enthusiastic and loves working with the boys at Capstone. I hope he stays with us until he retires. He understands that evil is at the core of what we battle at Capstone and he dedicates his life to fighting for good. I’m thankful for Jeremiah. He has become an intricate part of the Capstone team. Jeremiah has sincere passion for what he is doing here at Capstone. He approaches learning with a humility that makes him very coachable, which is a great example to our boys. He has allowed Capstone to touch his heart deeply and to bring out more of the man that God made him to be. Jeremiah’s confidence and competence in his work with Capstone families is evident to me as well as all of his residents / families. JT has become a mainstay in the strength of Capstone and I am very proud of him.
Jeremiah has a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist under the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.
One of Jeremiah’s favorite scriptures is 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
