A few months ago it became evident that Capstone’s growth was creating a need for a change in job descriptions. Charlie Marcussen needed to focus on our marketing strategies and continue organizing the logistical needs of every aspect of Capstone. We needed somebody with a lot of accounting experience who understood non profit organizations who could become our controller. I called a friend of mine who is a very successful businessman and described our need so he could keep his eyes open for some prospects. Stacy Lewis was the name given so I called her to set up an informal meeting just to have an initial talk. I was so impressed with her that the meeting became and interview and she became the first and last person I talked to about the job.

Stacy has worked in public accounting and has her MBA and therefore is very qualified to understand the inner workings of any business. Combine this with her experience working for a non profit organization and she became a perfect fit for this job position. Her commitment to Jesus Christ and then to her family is strong, so she fit in with the rest of us as far as our priorities are concerned. Stacey’s husband, Brian, is a youth minister and they both have a love for ministry. She is the mother of two boys.

I am so thankful for Stacey. She makes our team better.
