Meet Kayla Ann Wilson! Kayla Ann is a part of our Admissions Team as the SSP Coordinator and Intake Specialist at Capstone Treatment Center.
Kayla Ann was born and raised in the small community of Des Arc, AR but broadened her horizons by pursuing a higher education in Texas at SAGU and then Baylor University. When she began her academic journey, she was unsure of what career she wanted to pursue until she heard SAGU’s social work department speak in chapel. She instantly knew that social work was the direction the Lord wanted her to go in and she is forever grateful for that decision because it eventually led her here to Capstone!
"I am so honored and blessed to be a part of the Capstone team and the amazing work that is done here. As part of the admissions team, I see our guys on their first day at Capstone, coming in with their hurting hearts, their shame, and their brokenness. As SSP coordinator, I get to spend the first few weeks with the guys helping their bodies regulate with the help of music so that they can adjust to the therapeutic work that they are doing at Capstone as they begin their healing journey. And then at the end of their stay, I get to see the hope and joy that has blossomed in these families as they embark on their next steps in their journey toward freedom. Capstone is so intentional in creating an environment where these guys can be truly known and loved as they work towards a life of freedom and I am beyond grateful that I get to play a part in this ministry." ...
